We are currently hiring a Fuel Administrator based in Dartmouth, NS

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Pull Daily Yard Tank Transactions and reconcile Yard Tanks
  • Assist with the automation of the processes for Yard Tanks
  • Yard Tank Analysis & Reporting
  • Processing Fuel Transactions
  • IFTA Filing and Administration
  • Preparation of monthly journal entries
  • Reconciling, Analyzing and Maintaining fuel GL accounts and sub ledgers
  • Administration of Fuel Cards & Transponders
  • Assisting with various automation projects and initiatives
  • Provide assistance with inquiries from internal customers
  • Enhance reporting and analysis of fuel revenue and expense
  • Assisting with ad-hoc reports as requested
  • Others duties as required

Qualifications and Experience:

 

  • Diploma in business, with focus on accounting or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to deal proactively and professionally with internal and external customers
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills required
  • High level of motivation and energy
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Effectively manage priorities and meet deadlines
